Adrian Peterson Holds Red Carpet Event Fund Raiser for the All Day Foundation

Friday September 4th, the warehouse district was flooded with photographers and excited Viking fans as they awaited the arrival of the all star wide receiver Adrian Peterson. Peterson hosted a red carpet event to raise funds for his nonprofit organization, the All Day Foundation.

According to Adrian, the foundation is to help and inspire children in the community all day everyday. The foundation supports organzations such as the Boys and Girls Club of the Twin Cities and many orther organizations that help the development of children. Adrian stated, "We have local and national events that turn out pretty good. Each year we are taking steps to do more."

When asked what made him start the foundation , Adrian replied, "Me growing up in a small town, and always wanting to experience a lot more. Kids that are wealthy are able to do more, so I wanted to be able to give to children in the community whether back home or in Minnesota. We are having different camps and events where children can come out and have a good time. We are doing anything to give back to the community."

The event was sponsored by some heavy hitters such as Ulimate Electronics and Vitamin Water and many more. Also, some celebrities were in the house to show their support such as Trent Tucker.
