The name Kim Kardashian always seems to find its way into the media’s hottest gossip. This year Kim shocked us with the news that she finally decided to settle down and get married. Then, she created media frenzy and stole the lime light from the royal wedding by boosting that her wedding will be bigger than the royal wedding. Next, she executed one the biggest and most glamorous wedding in Hollywood. Finally, for a finale she filed for a divorce a month after the wedding. As soon as we thought we got a since of peace and quite from the Kim news, she pops up again; this time her behavior has caused Tyler Perry, producer, writer, and actor, fans to question why he gave her a role in his movie “The Marriage Counselor.”

Tyler Perry has been receiving all types of havoc from fans about his addition to his new movie. His fans are so mad that some are planning on boycotting his movie when it launches. It seems fans are trying to grasp the relationship between Kim, whose public dating history, has displayed that she has never been in a stable relationship since she has hit the social scene; and someone who can counsel marriages.

Tyler wanted all of his fans to know that he has heard their concerns and wanted to address the issue. On his website,Tyler first sets the record straight and states that Kim is not the star of the movie nor does she play a marriage counselor. Tyler Perry also responded to his fans stating that he decided to use Kim because he wanted to appeal to a younger audience. Tyler also believes that this movie has a message that the young people need to hear. The movie is about a young married woman who moves to NYC and as she develops in her career she is being challenged in all areas of her life; including her marriage and her faith. The movie will take viewers through the situations that young married couples experience everyday.
Tyler says,
“I wanted a younger cast, that’s why I put Jurnee in the lead and invited Lance Gross, Robbie Jones and Brandy. About two months ago, long before I even heard about Kim’s marriage or divorce, I was trying to finish up the casting. I said to one of my producers, “who else is out there that young people are looking up to?” One of my producers showed me pictures that his daughter had taken of several hundred kids lined up around the corner to get into a Kardashian store. They wanted to meet Kim. I thought what better person! She literally has millions of young people following her. I thought and still do think, that it would be very responsible of her to be a part of this film. To have the young people that look up to her, see her in a film that is about, what happens in life when you make the wrong choices. Whether you’re aware of it or not, to be honest with you I wasn’t, millions of young people adore her and are following her every move. If one of those young people see this film and find the strength to live a better life and not go through what these characters went through in this movie, then we have all done what I feel I’m being led to do here. I hope you understand. I really do!”

Well, I guess we all have to wait to see the movie to see if Tyler made the right decision. He hasn’t failed me yet and based on the plot of the movie, I do believe that Kim would fit in the movie. Let’s face it, we have watched her in the media and her reality shows as she went through the trials and tribulations of being a young woman trying to find the right man. None of us are perfect, but unfortunately for Kim, all of her actions are scene by the world.
