Sparks defense slows down Whalen and the Lynx 71-58
Tina Thompson led the way with 24 points
The Lynx sported Pink uniforms in the support of breast cancer as they lost to the Sparks on Tuesday July 27. Coach Cheryl Reeves called this one of the Lynx 's most embarrasing games of the season. The start of the game gave high hopes to the Lynx as they scored 11 offensive rebounds in the 1st half. But that was the only high point of the game. From there the Sparks could not be slowed down. Be sure to catch the Lynx as they strut their stuff in "Catwalk for a Cure" on Saturday July 31st, at Mall Of America.
