With the MN Black Music Award ceremony right around the corner, many us are wondering “What am I going to wear?” Many of us want to hit the Red Carpet like the celebrities do, but do not have the cash like the celebrities do. We also have the dilemma of spending a bunch of money on a dress or outfit that is going to be so fabulous that we will only wear it once. I know I have a closet full of one time wears that I look at in shame because, if I added up how much I spent on those outfits, I know the total will be well over $2000. Many times the gowns and jewelry worn on the red carpet events are borrowed or rented from the designer. Well now we can do the same. There is a website called Rent the Runway www.renttherunway.com, which allows you to rent some of the fabulous looks that are seen on the red carpet for that special event for a reasonable price.
Rent The Runway allows you to rent high fashion apparel for 90% off the retail price. The process to rent is very simple. Simply put in the date in which you will need the dress (allow at least two days prior to ensure you receive the dress before your date), along with your size and zip code. Then, search through the available dresses for that date. Rent the Runway will send you your dress along with a back up size of the dress. The backup size is provided for free. You can also order a second style for a discounted rental price. The day after your event you simply return the dress in the prepaid postage envelope back to Rent the Runway. You don’t even need dry clean the garment before returning.

Some of the designers carried by RTR are Hervé Léger, who Kim Kardashian is known for wearing, Halston, and Black Halo whose Black Jackie O dress has been seen on almost every women in Hollywood.
